Penny Nicholls

Professional Member

Penelope Nicholls is a Partner in D Young & Co., registered Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys and has experience in private practice since 1979. She specialises in trade mark protection and has substantial experience in advising a broad range of clients, from multinationals to small businesses, acting as an Authorised Representative before the IPO and Community Trade Mark Office.

She is a contributor to The Trade Mark Handbook and was a member of ITMA’s governing body from 1986 – 1991. She has a particular interest in aspects of training and development for members of the profession and has been an Examiner for ITMA as well as a founder member of the Joint Education Board (JEB).

In her spare time, she plays the piano and enjoys walking and opera.
