Nicholas Fox

Professional Member



Nicholas is a British and European Patent Attorney, solicitor and IP litigator. He is a partner of private practice firm IP Asset LLP where his work focuses on litigation and protecting computer-related inventions. He initially qualified as a barrister and is admitted to the bar in the State of New York. He is author of the practitioners' work "A Guide to the EPC 2000" and was the advocate in the Astron Clinica appeal, resulting in a reversal of policy at the UK-IPO toward claims for computer/software inventions. He regularly speaks on intellectual property matters, lecturing at the European Patent Academy, Queen Mary, University of London and teaching on the JDD revision courses.
